Privacy Policy

WizPro Software is a software company based in Port Charlotte, Florida, operating a portfolio of business applications and building websites and web applications on behalf of clients.

Our role depends on the context. For our own applications and this website, we are the controller of the personal information described here. When we build and host a website or application for a client, that client is generally the controller and WizPro acts as a processor on their behalf, handling data according to their instructions.

2.1 Information you give us

• Account information — name, email address, and password when an account is created in one of our applications.
• Contact and enquiry forms — name, email address, company, and the content of your message when you contact us or submit an enquiry through a site we operate.
• Newsletter subscriptions — your email address, where a site offers a mailing list.
• Content you upload — text, images, and files submitted through an application or content management system.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device information, recorded with form submissions and in security and audit logs.
• Usage and audit logs — records of significant actions taken within an application, such as sign-ins, content changes, and administrative operations, retained for security and accountability.
• Essential cookies — a session cookie is set when you sign in to an application, so that you remain signed in. See Article 6.

2.3 Information from third parties

Where a client authorises it, we retrieve publicly available information from third-party platforms — for example a public video list, follower count, or live broadcast status — in order to display it on that client's own website. Where a platform requires an authorisation step, we access only the specific data the account holder has explicitly granted, and only for the purpose of displaying it on their site.

We do not purchase personal information from data brokers, and we do not combine third-party platform data with information from other sources to build advertising profiles.

We use personal information only for the purposes it was provided for:

• To provide, operate, and maintain our applications and client websites.
• To authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
• To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
• To send transactional email — account setup, password resets, and notifications of enquiries received.
• To send newsletters, where you have explicitly opted in, and only until you unsubscribe.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, for providing the services you or your organisation have signed up for; legitimate interests, for security, abuse prevention, and operating our sites; consent, for newsletter subscriptions and any non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time; and legal obligation, where retention or disclosure is required by law.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to deliver our services. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
• Neon — managed PostgreSQL database hosting.
• SendGrid (Twilio) — delivery of transactional and newsletter email.
• Cloudflare — bot protection on public forms.
• DigitalOcean — storage of uploaded images and files.
• WizPay / Payroc — payment processing for subscriptions. Card details are handled by the processor under PCI DSS and are never stored on WizPro servers.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. If WizPro is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will give notice before it becomes subject to a different policy.

Our applications set an essential session cookie when you sign in, so that you stay signed in as you move between pages. This cookie is required for the service to function and cannot be disabled while you are signed in.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies on our own website. Where a client site embeds third-party content — such as a video or stream player — that provider may set its own cookies, governed by their privacy policy rather than this one.

We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

• Account data — for the life of the account. Following the end of a subscription, customer data is retained for thirty (30) days to allow export, after which it may be permanently deleted.
• Enquiries and contact messages — retained while commercially relevant, and deleted on request.
• Newsletter subscriptions — until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribe records are kept so we do not contact you again in error.
• Audit and security logs — retained for a limited period for security and accountability.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.

Residents of California may additionally request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and may opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — WizPro does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any right, email support@wizprosoftware.com. We aim to respond within thirty (30) days. Every newsletter also contains a one-click unsubscribe link.

If your data was collected through a website we operate on behalf of a client, we will forward your request to that client, who is the controller of that information, and assist them in responding.

We protect personal information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity: encryption in transit using TLS, passwords stored only as salted hashes and never in readable form, access controls limiting staff and client access to what their role requires, and audit logging of significant actions.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulator as required by law.

WizPro Software is based in the United States, and our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Our applications are intended for business use and are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date and version at the top of this page always reflect the current version. Where changes materially affect how we handle personal information, we will give notice by email or through the applicable service before they take effect.
